Miami, Fla. (January 16, 2007) - Napa Valley icons Peter Mondavi, Sr. and Robert Mondavi will reunite at the 2007 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival to receive their first ever award together, the Southern Wine & Spirits Lifetime Achievement Award.

NEW YORK, NY, January 18, 2007 – This February, South Beach will get even “hotter” as the Food Network’s most popular stars converge for the first-ever Food Network Awards. Taking its mission to be “Way More Than Cooking” even further, Food Network will hold its first-ever awards show on Saturday, February 24th at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami, FL. The 90-minute show will premiere on Food Network Sunday, April 15th at 9 PM ET/PT.

Food Network announced today it will partner with the South Beach Wine & Food Festival to become the festival’s title sponsor in 2007. The resulting combination—the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine magazine, will take place Friday, February 23 – Sunday, February 25, 2007. Hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University (FIU), the festival now in its sixth year, will continue to take South Florida’s gastronomic culinary scene to even greater heights with the support of Food Network.
