The Food Network South Beach Wine &Food Festival is a spectacular four days worth of events celebrating amazing food and great wine in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Now you don't have to wait until next year's Festival, February 23 – 26, 2012, to enjoy a special series of intimate culinary and preeminent wine events. "Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival" is a unique and private experience as an extension of the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The annual series of events reach a targeted audience, who are the Festival's most loyal and affluent local supporters and increase the Festival's exposure throughout the year. The "Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival" consist of a select group of 100 high net-worth South Floridians who commit to an annual membership fee to participate in exclusive experiences. The "Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival" will continue to focus on providing our loyal patrons First Class and "one-of-a-kind" culinary experiences that as an accessory to the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The purpose of this select group is to provide an ongoing source of support to raise significant funds for our future hospitality leaders of tomorrow, by supporting Florida International University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Event Details: The "Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival" will consist of a minimum of six (6) exclusive members-only "behind the scenes" events throughout the calendar year featuring high profile restaurant openings or unique tastings not open to the general public.
Additionally, all members will be given the opportunity to purchase 2012 Festival tickets in advance of the general public. In short, Members will be given a bird's eye view of the 2012 Festival and experience VIP benefits not provided to any other sponsor, VIP or ticket purchaser.
Membership: $1,000 per annual membership fee (good for the member and a guest) to join the "Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival". This contribution will be made to FIU and will be fully tax deductible to the extent the law allows. Click here to download the membership form
