Series: “Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival” is a unique and private experience as an extension of the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival and as a prelude to the 2009 Festival. The annual series of events will reach a targeted audience, who are the Festival’s most loyal and affluent local supporters and increase the Festival’s exposure throughout the year. The “Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival” will consist of a select group of 200 high profile South Floridian’s who will commit to an annual membership fee to participate in these exclusive experiences. The “Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival” will continue to focus on providing our loyal patrons First Class and “one of a kind” culinary experiences that they enjoy as part of the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival. The purpose of this select group will be to provide an ongoing source of support and promotion during the months before and after the Festival, while continuing to raise significant funds for FIU. It will also serve as a way to target and involve South Florida residents who otherwise might not be acquainted with FIU and its development opportunities; while offering a glimpse of the kind of events that the Festival offers its guests each February.
Event Details:The “Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival” will consist of a minimum of five (5) exclusive members-only “behind the scenes” events throughout the calendar year. The events specific dates will take place throughout the year, with no events happening in July or August.

Additionally, all members will be given the opportunity to purchase 2009 Festival tickets in advance of the general public. In short, Members will be given a bird’s eye view of the 2009 Festival and experience VIP benefits not provided to any other sponsor, VIP or ticket purchaser.
Membership: $1,200 per annual membership fee (good for the member and a guest) to join the “Friends of the South Beach Wine and Food Festival”. This contribution will be made to FIU/SBWFF and will be fully tax deductible to the extent the law allows.
Sponsorship: As part of the “Friends of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival” sponsorship will be limited to two (2) Co-Presenting Sponsors and our exclusive media partner, MIAMI Modern Luxury Magazines.
